Wheels of Peel - 2010 Charter Weekend

The Brampton Transit 8899 charter will board at Clark Garage (140 Clark Blvd) before 10AM and at Bramalea City Centre's route 18.19 stop shortly after 10AM. Please try to arrive as early as possible as money will be collected prior to the bus's arrival, allowing us to get on our way without wasting time. The lunch stop will be at Cottrelle Blvd and Highway 50, where participants can take advantage of Pizza Pizza, Subway and Sobey's locations there. We will return to Clark Garage for a garage visit at 3PM. The cost of this charter remains $35 or part of the $60 weekend pass. It is expected that post-charter activities will take place similar to every other charter.

The Mississauga Transit Orion VI charter will depart the Central Parkway Garage (975 Central Parkway West) CX Annex at 10AM. Parking is permitted and encouraged at the far west end of the employee parking lot near the entrance from Erindale Station Road, closest to the three protruding white and orange wash bays, which you will notice are new from last year. An alternate pickup will be arranged for those who cannot make it to the garage, allowing them to board at Square One at 10:15AM. The lunch stop will be at Zet's, the famous Mississauga restaurant located under the flightpath known for having good food 24 hours of the day. Enough time will be allocated to allow participants to enjoy their lunch, however you are encouraged to make your selections ahead of time by visiting their website. Menus will also be available on the charter bus. The charter will be completed at 3PM however the opportunity for an extended charter remains a possibility pending the wishes and willingness of the participants. A tour of both the main Central Parkway Garage and CX Annex will be included after the end of the charter. Return transportation back to Square One and points farther will be arranged (again on a deadheading bus or an in-service one, or by car) for those who require it. The cost of this charter remains $35 or part of the $60 weekend pass.

Both charters are now full
and anyone who has already registered, either by e-mail, on CPTDB or by talking to the webmaster is confirmed to be coming.
